The launcher is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show an “unrecognized app” warning. Choose More info → Run anyway if you trust this download. Keep your antivirus and Windows security features enabled.

After the download

    Extract the downloaded ZIP to any folder — for example C:\Games\ClickWoW.

  2. 02

    Run Wow.exe (or Play ClickWoW) from that folder.

    Log in with the account you created on this site — new characters start at level 80 with a reusable Champion's Wardrobe starter loadout, and Tier 9 PvE gear is free from a separate ordinary item vendor.

  4. 04

    Open the Arena Battles window and pick 1v1 Battle under Rated Battle, or 1v1 Skirmish under Practice Battle. 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 remain available.

Check the client hash before you extract

In PowerShell run Get-FileHash .\WoWClick-3.3.5a.zip -Algorithm SHA256 and compare the result with the SHA-256 printed above. The client is 17,681,226,783 bytes, World of Warcraft 3.3.5a, build 12340. If either value differs, delete the file.

The launcher is not code-signed

Launcher 0.1.4 has no Authenticode signature yet, so Windows SmartScreen will most likely warn you and the publisher will show as unknown. That warning is expected — we are not claiming the file is signed or warning-free. Keep antivirus and Windows security features enabled, and if you would rather avoid the installer entirely, the full client ZIP needs no launcher at all.

Use a unique password

The 3.3.5a client caps passwords at 16 characters and ignores capitalisation. Never reuse a password you use anywhere else, on this realm or any other.
