The ladder
Progression
A reusable Champion's Wardrobe starter loadout at level 80 and free Tier 9 PvE gear from a separate vendor. Wrathful and ICC/RS Heroic items bought with Arena Points. Earned trinkets and prestige mounts from the Arena Quartermaster.
Step 1
Enter the arena
Your first login puts you at level 80 with a reusable Champion's Wardrobe that hands out a complete class- and spec-appropriate Relentless-tier starter loadout. Tier 9 PvE gear is a separate ordinary free item vendor. Trinkets are not handed out; those are earned.
Step 2
Build your rating
Open the Arena Battles window and pick 1v1 Battle under Rated Battle or 1v1 Skirmish under Practice Battle. The 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 brackets remain available. Honor and Arena Points are earned through play.
Step 3
Claim Wrathful
Wrathful PvP items and ICC/RS Heroic PvE items are sold individually by item vendors and paid for with Arena Points earned in game. ICC/RS trinkets are deliberately excluded from those vendors. The Premium Quartermaster catalog is a preview only — payments and fulfilment are not enabled.
Step 4
Chase prestige
The Arena Quartermaster holds the earned rewards: trinkets and prestige mounts bought with Arena Points, with rating and rated-win thresholds where specified, plus seasonal titles and Gladiator Frostwyrms.
Heroic trinket tiers
Offered by the Arena Quartermaster for Arena Points plus a rating and rated-win threshold. ICC/RS trinkets are excluded from the ordinary Arena Point item vendors. Arena Points and rating are never sold.
